Afyonspor and Somaspor are both football clubs in Turkey that compete in the third tier of the Turkish football league system. Afyonspor is based in the city of Afyonkarahisar, while Somaspor is based in the town of Soma, located in the western province of Manisa.
Afyonspor was founded in 1984 and has mainly played in the lower levels of Turkish football throughout their history, except for a brief stint in the second tier in the mid-1990s. The team's colors are black and white and they play their home matches at the Afyon Municipality Stadium.
Somaspor, on the other hand, was originally established in 1925 but was dissolved in 1964. The club was re-founded in 1982 and has played in the third and fourth tiers of Turkish football since then. Somaspor's colors are red and white, and the team plays their home matches at the Soma İlçe Stadium.
Both teams have a small but dedicated fan base, and their matches often draw a respectable crowd despite not being among the most popular clubs in Turkey.
